THE REASON :
Because with some regularity, car door mirrors were broken on a narrow road,
along Beynac-et-Cazenac, someone 30 years ago devised a diversion,
which had to go straight through the Dordogne valley (Unesco).

This now outdated idea. has been held back for 30 years by the efforts of those involved.
Think of the inhabitants of: Vezac, Beynac, Castelnaud, Saint-Vincent-de-Cosse
and supported by the Sights such as Castles:
"Beynac", "La Roque Gageac", "Milandes", "Chateau de Fayrac - UNESCO -"
"Castelnaud" and the gardens of "Marqueyssac"
which annually attract millions of visitors in this pristine DORDOGNE VALLEY - UNESCO.
